Teochew Steam Fish (Pomfret) by Christine


Teochew steam fish with white porridge, healthy and tasty meal.

Ingredients:
1 Pomfret ( about 500 grams)
1 marinated sour plums (can buy from the market)
slices ginger
1 chilli padi (do not cut unless you want it to be spicy)
1 tomato (cut into slices)
Sesame oil
Salt
Corriander leaves,onion leaves

Steps:
1. Season the fish with salt
2. Put the slices ginger, tomatoes and chilli on the fish
3. Squeeze the sour plum on the fish
4. Put a little bit of sesame oil on top od the fish
5. Bring the water to boil
6. Steam the fish for about 13 - 15 minutes.
7. Garnish with corriander leaves or onion leaves if you like.
8. Serve hot
